We're Still Here For You...You Just Can't Come In.

“There is on the world’s round surface a numberless, nameless throng who could never find enough alleviations for their sufferings in sleep. Wine composes songs and poems for them.”
- Charles Baudelaire

We love wine. We care about it deeply - it is more than our livelihood, it is a comforting constant in our daily lives. We also love to share it with you, but in this new world order, we all need to act responsibly and show that we can adapt, survive and work towards a future where we thrive.

Current realities cannot be ignored. We will be moving to a pick-up and delivery operation only with the following new hours:

Monday to Saturday 10am - 6pm
Sunday noon - 5pm*.

With all of the means of communication available to us in 2020, this is a less challenging procedure than it might have been when we opened in 1996. But as you demonstrate to us at Metrovino on a daily basis, you love the ambience of the store and contact with the amazing group of people who work here; we are sorry to temporarily deprive you of this.

While it is a different way of operating, and a very difficult decision for us, we will be suspending in-store shopping as of now. But we remain horrified at the thought of you weathering these times without sufficient quantities of wine!

Once again, here are all of the avenues by which you can still access great wine:

Telephone (403-205-3356)

Email (wine@metrovino.com)

Shop online

We are happy to make a hygienic handoff at our door, load your wine directly into your vehicle, or arrange delivery to your home.

Metrovino is fortunate in having very good stocks available of most of our products, but please excuse us if we run out of a favourite as several links in our normal supply chain have been broken.

We care for you deeply, not only as customers, but as fellow human beings who we wish to see enjoy the greatest wealth possible: good health. Let’s show the solidarity needed to weather this universal challenge and demonstrate the love, care and respect for our fellow dwellers on Planet Earth.

Thank you for your understanding, and we look forward to hearing from you. In the meantime, stay safe, stay sane and focus on the simple things that make you happy.
