Finding accessibly-priced Pinot Noir and Chardonnay from France’s Burgundy region has become like looking for a Yeti in a snowstorm, but the wines are there if one searches diligently. This will be a journey on some of the “petites routes” of this beautiful part of France and we’ll show you what true lovers of Burgundy are drinking (and it’s not just “drinking labels”!). Tucked-away villages, higher altitudes, going south and, sometimes, even being open to other grapes can provide the intrepid drinker with unforeseen rewards.
