Domaine Georges Descombes | Morgon, Beaujolais
Georges’ soul is pure Beaujolais! Tasting wine in a very well- kitted-out kitchen that now serves as the refectory for his harvest crew, we discussed our shared love of the foods provided by “Monsieur Cochon” (honoured in the painting) and the joys of a large glass of his Beaujolais. An adherant to the school of “helping” grapes become wine, Georges is respected for HIS respect of the earth, and a very authentic winemaking approach.
